Keeping Busy Does Not Mean Making Money

By: Jeremy McCluggage C.Ht.

I will bet you have had days that you felt like you worked your fingers to the bone and at the end of it you looked at your to do list or thought back on the day and realized you did not get anything of substance completed.  I know this has never happened to you but I bet you know I person who has experienced it, maybe the guy down the hall, right?

Things that seem immediate and important at the time like a phone call or email can be day killers.  They normally keep you from getting your work that brings cash into your business done.  I ask myself every morning, what is the fastest path to cash today.  I write down three to five things and call them my success five.

There is no way I am going home until those item are complete.  You might ask, but I have to answer my email.  If it piles up then it will take me all day to answer then especially with all of the spam I have to wade through.

Please allow me to impart one piece of knowledge to you that will double your income over the next twelve to twenty-four months.  Anything you can pay someone $12 an hour to do pay someone else to do.  Wading through you spam is one of those things.  Answering your phone is another.  Checking your messages cleaning or organizing your desk.

There is a list as long as your arm that makes up the items that an assistant would save you time and allow you to focus on doing the things that actually make you money.  He Assistant can organize the items in your email for you and your voice mail and you can focus on the most important call backs first instead of calling back in the order received like most of you do.

Delegation, delegation, delegation⦠Get an assistant and you life will be so much easier and you will make much more money because you will be able to get your success five done every day and that is the reason you are in business.

Stay focused and keep going, because it is not over until you win.
